Dream Time

Where Unicorns and Dragons play
the sun rises in the west
there far away my soul can stray
while my body lays in rest.

I dance to a rhythm that's lost its beat
beneath a blood red sun
and in this way I find I cheat
a life that's lost all fun.

For in this land so far away
and yet so near at hand
the mountains to the music sway
and time's a rubber band.

So won't you come with me my friend
just one step through that door
and there our dance will never end
we'll let our spirits soar.

Where Unicorns and Dragons play
we never will be found
and if we never end our stay
we'll dance the clock around.

For there beneath a TumTum tree
I’ll sit and wait for you.
The Jabberwock will turn and flee
from thoughts of eyes so blue.

And though you are far out of sight
as painful as that seems
I will hold you close tonight when
I see you in my dreams.

Where Unicorns run and Dragons wing
there's no one there to see us
so we will laugh and love and sing
in the arms of Morpheus.
