I Love You

Once "I Love You" was not so hard to say
Before I met you and you stole my heart
But now those words mean so much more each day
That if it ever comes our time to part

I'll not be quick to say those words again
To any other that I chance to meet
For many days shall pass before the pain
Will fade and I'll be back upon my feet

Prepared once more to show someone my soul
And even then is just won't be the same
As now I know a love that makes me whole
I'll feel I missed my chance when once it came

So let me take this time to tell you true
The words "I Love You" make me think of you
