Writer / Editor / Systems Administrator                       2006 - 2007
Co-wrote a 350 page non-fiction book. Set up and maintained company
website including collaborative wiki software for writers to work
together remotely, a bulletin board system for reader community feedback,
and a shopping cart system for purchases. Maintained SQL database of
customer contact info. Wrote PHP code to customize the shopping cart
shipping module so it conformed to existing business processes.

Isle Byte Inc. - New York, NY
Principal / Systems Architect / Programmer                    2001 - 2006  
Created and sold the use of web application software, running on Python
Zope platform on Linux Servers, with AJAX style GUI simulation on the
front end. Also worked on a C# .NET Share Point platform Windows 2003
Server based business application which integrated standard office
applications, such as Excel and Word, into a server side workflow,
indexing, and management solution.

HavenCo Ltd. - Sealand
CEO                                                           1999 - 2001
Conceived, founded, and managed the first public data-haven startup.
Set up multinational corporate structure. Raised first round angel
investment. Oversaw build out of secure managed collocation facility,
and fantastic launch publicity including CNN, ABC, CBS, BBC, Wired
Magazine (July 2000 Cover), but my favorite was being made fun of on
Jon Stewart's Daily Show.

Isle Byte Inc. - Anguilla, East Caribbean
Principal / Systems Architect / Programmer                    1997 - 1999
Moved consulting services offshore. Designed SAXAS (an eCurrency transfer,
market, and payment protocol) with Secure Accounts Ltd. Designed a Java
Servlet-based Domain registration site with propagation of SQL database 
to BIND files for a pacific country top level domain (ccTLD).

Sand Dollar Solutions LLC - New Orleans, LA
Principal / Systems Architect / Programmer                    1995 - 1997
Started a consulting service for offshore computer and telephone order
entry businesses. Designing customized software with clerk-operated Visual
Basic user interface, and customer-operated Interactive Voice Response
(IVR) telephone interfaces built in C, connected to an SQL database.

H&H Industries - New York, NY & San Francisco, CA
Division Manager / Systems Architect / Programmer             1990 - 1995 
Computerized order entry and accounting systems for a NYC telephone based
brokerage service. Managed technical support division for the systems I
had designed and built.
